Report summary

This report summarizes the assessment of pediatric studies for Brintellix (vortioxetine) in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), submitted under Article 46 of Regulation (EC) No 1901/2006 (EMA/827117/2022). Study 12709A, a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in children aged 7-11, did not show statistically significant efficacy for vortioxetine compared to placebo on the primary endpoint (CDRS-R total score change). Safety findings were consistent with previous adult and adolescent studies, with no new concerns identified.
