The CGRP inhibitors reviewed in this library for migraine include Ajovy, Vyepti, Atogepant, rimegepant, Aquipta, Ubrelvy, Aimovig, and Nurtec-ODT. These drugs have been reviewed for indications such as the prophylaxis of migraine in adults who have at least 4 migraine days per month, the preventive treatment of episodic migraine in adults, and the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults. Different drugs were studied in different trials, so figures are not head-to-head.
Results reported include reductions in monthly migraine days and rates of pain freedom. For example, Ajovy showed an adjusted mean treatment difference in monthly average number of migraine days vs placebo (fremanezumab 225/225/225 mg) of -1.8. Vyepti demonstrated a mean change from baseline in monthly migraine days of -4.29. Ubrelvy reported pain freedom at 2 hours (ubrogepant 50 mg) at 19.2 %. Aimovig showed a difference in LSM for MMD vs placebo of -2.46.
