Anti-CD20 therapies (MS)

Neurologyยท 3 reviewed drugsยท 4147 cited findings behind them

What the regulatory reviews cover

Several anti-CD20 therapies have been reviewed for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). Briumvi is indicated for relapsing forms of MS, including clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults. Ocrevus/ocrelizumab is indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (RMS). Kesimpta is indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of MS, to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.

These drugs have demonstrated various outcomes in their respective trials. For Briumvi, the Annualized Relapse Rate (ARR) was 0.09 compared to a comparator ARR of 0.23. Ocrevus/ocrelizumab showed a relapse rate reduction of 46% versus Rebif. Kesimpta demonstrated an Annualized Relapse Rate (ARR) reduction of 58.5%. It is important to note that these drugs were studied in different trials, and therefore, the figures are not directly comparable head-to-head.
