What the regulatory reviews cover
This library contains regulatory review documents for several drugs indicated for obesity and weight management. These include Wegovy, Saxenda, Zepbound, Imcivree, and Mysimba. Mounjaro is also included, indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, and for the treatment of symptomatic chronic heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).
Different drugs were studied in different trials, so figures are not head-to-head comparisons. For example, Wegovy demonstrated a proportion of participants achieving body weight reduction ≥5% of 88.47. Saxenda showed 56% of patients losing >=5% body weight in the Saxenda arm, compared to 25% in the placebo arm. Zepbound reported a percent change from baseline in AHI of -56.2. Imcivree showed an average percent decrease from baseline in body weight (POMC) of 23.1. Mysimba had an LS Mean difference from placebo (NB32) of -4.81. Mounjaro demonstrated HbA1c effect sizes for tirzepatide vs placebo (GPGI) ranging from -1.33 to -1.56.
